Breakfast is, by far, my fave meal of the day. One of my former students, now a dear friend, was in town visiting her folks, so we celebrated her birthday by getting together for breakfast st V.I. and Liz, our server, took super good care of us. The food was delicious, and the service was quick and efficient while also giving my friend and I plenty of time to visit/catch up without feeling rushed out the door. Great, relaxed atmosphere for a get-together. My family loves this place and is SO relieved it re-opened after the shut-down following Covid-19. Keep up the terrific work, everyone!

Terrific local restaurant with awesome rhubarb pie. Breakfast served all day with yummy sandwiches and salads. Did I mention rhubarb pie...with ice cream? Anna, our waitress, was terrific.

What a wonderful experience! Jaden was personable and very attentive to our requests. I ordered the top sirloin steak (rare) and it was rare, to perfection! We will definitely return next time we are in the area!

Seated right away. The young waiter was very attentive, gave us ample time to look over the menu, and was a pleasant young man. The food was served in a reasonable time, hot and tasty. No disappointments at all. Two breakfast entries and a big burger for myself at six in the evening and all were prepared well. We were even able to strike up a random conversation with the waiter when we finished. He was generously tipped. A recommended spot for a good meal. Don't load up too much as their pies are delicious.

staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. we were seated and served quickly, which is impressive at 10:30 on a Sunday around here! Eggs and french toast were delicious, sausage and potatoes were a little dry.

They were BUSY this morning when my fiancee, my daughter and her boyfriend went for breakfast. However, talk about super hot fresh coffee!! Everything was delicious! We had the New Philly Skillet. The New Bacon Chilli Skillet and The 2-2-2 breakfast. Not a single complaint except we were too full!

It is my favorite breakfast place in Ames . Sunday mornings are always busy here but today it was not much of waiting. We waited for hardly five to ten minutes. We ordered Chicken Burger (which was a custom burger made on our request), Strawberry Crepe which comes with Hash-brown and bacon strips (which I replaced with Turkey Sausage) and Holiday special Silk Pie. Everything were fresh and tasty. I always recommend this place.
